SAY NO TO PAPER TOWELS! A very common and handy item to have in your kitchen, but did you know that they are just bad news for our environment? They're non-recyclable which contributes to approximately 300,000-odd tonnes of paper sent to Australian landfills each year. Say NO to paper towels and use the best sustitute around - a washable, reusable rag or cloth for cleaning up messes around cooking times! E.g. Old cloth serviettes, handkerchiefs, strips of old cloth nappies, old clothes. The benefits are you are you're reusing an item otherwise headed for landill, cut back on papertowel waste and landfill AND saving money! PERFECT!
